I was sworn into the US Army on Tuesday. And I am shipping out on August 4th. Basic will Start on August 12th.
I will likely spend 7 months total in my AIT school and Basic. Meaning I won't get back home until after Febuary.
But this is the next step.
I'm going in as a 91W (Medic/EMT), so I will likely go to Iraq. But that's the cost of responsibility, to repay for the freedoms I enjoy as an American. And if I'm lucky, and work my ass off, I can make a career out of this, and get somewhere in my life.
It's all up to me now.
